Daryl Ray Carliles was born and raised in the small southern town of Henderson, North Carolina. Several years ago Daryl started his pursuit of acting in theater and film in places such as Florida, Los Angeles and New York and hasn’t slowed down since. He started out in musical theater performing in over 20 different shows up and down the East Coast such as “Little Shop of Horrors” as Seymour and the nostalgic favorite “Forever Plaid” as Frankie. Since moving to New York, he continued his pursuit of theater and became a proud member of Jaradoa Theater Co. making his New York debut in the Vineyard Theatre’s Production of “I’ll Be Damned” starring Broadway actresses Mary Testa and Kenita Miller.
He has also found a love for film — just recently completing the short film “A Hollywood Love Story” and now enjoying his third collaboration with Gary King. Daryl is also founder and producer of DRC Productions which is currently in development for their first feature film.
